Based on silicone rubber, electrically conductive silicone rubber
is made through vulcanization by adding conductive filler and cross-linking agent. The common sizing material is methyl vinyl silicone rubber, and the common conductive filler consists of acetylene carbon black, carbon fiber, super conductive carbon black, carbon, graphite, copper power, silver powder, aluminum powder and zinc powder.
Compared with common conductive rubber, electrically conductive silicone rubber has advantages of low volume resistivity, low hardness, resistance to high and low temperature (-70 to 200℃), resistance to aging process and good manufacturing performance. It is especially suitable for manufacturing electrically conductive silicon rubber products with good conductivity, complicated shape and small structure.
With the general characteristics such as resistance to high and low temperature, resistance to aging process and easy processing that common conductive rubber has, electrically conductive rubber
also features fine electrical stability and thermal stability.
It has the volume resistivity ranging from 3 to 10Ω·cm, relative density of 1.15, hardness (Shore A) of 60, tensile strength of 5.7MPa and relative elongation of 265%. It can be made through mixing methyl vinyl silicone rubber (raw rubber), white carbon black, conductive filling, constitution controller and organic peroxide.
With the advantages of small volume, stable and reliable contact, good anti-shock performance and easy to replace, it can be applied to connecting printed circuit, radio integrated circuit, display and others. It can reduce a lot of welding work, simplify assembly, reduce volume and cost and improve reliability.
